Vocality had the privilege to be involved in several community concerts and fund raising events over the past several years. Here’s a closer look at some of them:

Jackson, MN Youth in Harmony – Vocality has been the teaching quartet for the past four years and has watched the program grow from only a few students to over 200 young women and men performing on stage in January 2011. Our hope is to inspire youth to carry on the gift of music and we look forward to even more students in 2012 and beyond!

Wadena Tornado Benefit Concert – Vocality shared the stage with the Wadena Heart O’ Lakes Harmony men’s chorus in the summer of 2011 in order to raise money for the year anniversary of a devastating tornado that hit the community. Together we rose over $3000 for the Tornado Relief Long Term Recovery Fund.

Thrasher Opera House Benefit Concert – Vocality sang for 90 minutes to a sold out crowd in August raising over $2000 for the historic opera house!  Special thanks to Jo Ellen and Sean Madden for sponsoring this event!

Winona Hims Concerts – For the past two years Vocality has been a part of the Winona Hims annual fall concerts. This organization has raised over a quarter of a million dollars in the past twelve years which has gone to provide food, clothing and shelter to people in need in the greater Winona area. It was great to be a small part of their success!

Hugo Tornado Benefit Concert - Vocality was invited to perform along with Brady's Big Band in 2008 to help raise relief funds for the victims of the Hugo tornado.  Several thousand dollars were donated to those directly affected by this devastating storm.

Katrina Hurricane Benefit Concert - Vocality also joined with Brady's Big Band to help raise funds for the victims of the Katrina Hurricane in 2009.  Once again, several thousand dollars were raised to help those who suffered one of the worst hurricanes in US history.
